Healthy nutrition, designed for young children
At Garderie l’Ange Rumiel, fostering healthy eating habits from an early age
At Garderie l’Ange Rumiel, we place great importance on children’s nutrition. That’s why we work with a professional catering service to prepare meals. The menu, inspired by the Canadian Food Guide, is carefully planned and regularly reviewed to ensure a balanced diet.
We also rely on the Gazelle and Potiron Framework to create an environment conducive to healthy eating and physical activity. The educational team offers daily active games and activities that promote the motor development of young children.
Each day, children receive two snacks and a balanced lunch. Breakfast service is also available if needed, for a small additional fee.
Finally, we pay special attention to food allergies and intolerances. It is essential that parents inform management of any medical conditions. Upon presentation of a medical note, special dietary needs will be taken seriously and accommodated accordingly.
Balanced snacks and meals, served at key times of the day
A structured meal schedule adapted to the children’s rhythm
9:00 AM: morning snack (fresh fruit)
Between 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM: lunch (protein and vegetables), dessert, and a glass of milk

A few times a year, special menus are created for themed weeks such as Valentine’s Day, Halloween, the Holiday season, and Sugar Season.
A weekly menu will be posted on the message board near the main entrance. The rotation is updated every 5 weeks.
